- Gently scrape away as much of the dry pastel as possible with a dull knife or spoon.
- Dampen a cloth with cold water and blot the stain. Do not rub stain, as this will damage the fabric.
- If the stain persists, make a paste of baking soda and water and rub it on the spot with a soft brush. Rinse with cold water and repeat if necessary.
- Mix a solution of water and a few drops of liquid dish detergent. Dip a sponge in the solution and gently rub stained area. Rinse with cold water.
