The first step to properly remove an oil pastel stain from Nike shoes is to blot the affected area with a cloth or paper towel. This will help to draw out as much of oil as possible.
Mix a small amount of dish soap with warm water, and stir the solution until it's bubbly. Use a small, soft-bristled brush to gently apply the solution to the oil pastel stain. Allow the solution to sit for several minutes before moving on to the next step.
Carefully scrub stained area with the soft-bristled brush and the cleaning solution. Be sure not to scrub too hard, as you don't want to damage the material of the shoe. Once you've finished scrubbing, rinse the area with cool water.
In some cases, oil pastel stain may require a few repeats of this process before it's completely gone. If the stain persists, simply repeat the steps until it's removed.
Removing oil pastel stains from Nike shoes doesn't have to be difficult. Just follow the steps outlined above, and you'll have your shoes looking good as new in no time.
