What You’ll Need
- Dry-cleaning solvent
- Sponge or cloth
- Laundry detergent
- Newspaper
Instructions
- Place the stained mohair on a flat surface. Cover it with newspaper to protect the surface.
- Saturate the stained area with dry-cleaning solvent and work it into stained area with a clean sponge or cloth.
- Allow the area to dry completely.
- Mix a solution of cold water and laundry detergent and use a clean, wet sponge or cloth to dab the stained area with it.
- Rinse the area with a clean damp cloth, blotting the area until it’s almost dry. Gently press cloth down over the area.
- Finally, let the fabric air-dry completely.
