Start by lightly applying a liquid detergent directly onto the stain and rubbing it with a soft-bristled brush. This should help to lift the stain from the surface of the hair clip. If the stain persists, make a mixture of one part liquid dish soap and two parts hydrogen peroxide and gently rub it onto the stained area. Let the mixture sit for 10 minutes before rinsing it off with cool water.

If the stain is still there, try using a little bit of rubbing alcohol on a clean cloth and dabbing at the stain until it’s gone. Vinegar is another possible stain remover if all else fails. Mix equal parts vinegar and warm water and gently rub it into the stained area. Leave it for a few minutes before rinsing off again with cool water.

It’s important to always test any cleaning solution on a small, unnoticeable area of the hair clip before applying it to the stained area. This will ensure that the solution won’t damage the delicate material or color of the hair clip.

With a few simple steps, you can easily remove oil pastel stains from hair clips.
