An oil pastel stain on a grill can be an eye sore and difficult to remove, but don't despair! With the right supplies and techniques, you can make your grill look brand new in no time. The following guide will walk you step-by-step through cleaning oil pastel stains from grills.
Before you start cleaning your grill, gather the following supplies:
Using a soft cloth or paper towels, remove any food debris from the cooking surface of the grill. This will help expose the areas with oil pastel stains.
Mix together baking soda with a bit of water until it forms a thick paste. Spread the paste over the stained area and let it sit for 15 minutes.
Using a wet cloth, wipe away the baking soda paste. You should see some of the grease and oil pastel stain coming off the cooking surface.
Add a small amount of mild dish soap to a damp cloth and gently scrub the cooking surface. Rinse the soapy cloth with water and wipe away the residue. To finish, spray the surface with white vinegar and wipe it off with a dry cloth.
By following these 5 easy steps, you can clean oil pastel stains from grills and make them look like new!
