Baking Soda Paste: The Key to Success

The first step to get rid of oil pastel stain is to make a baking soda paste. To do this, mix 3 tablespoons of baking soda with 1 tablespoon of warm water. Stir until you have a thick paste. Apply the paste to the stained area of flip flop, then leave it to sit for 10 minutes.

Scrub Away Grease and Grime

Once the paste has set for 10 minutes, take a soft cloth or brush and gently scrub the stained area. Keep scrubbing until the stain starts to fade. You may need to add a bit more paste as you scrub to ensure the stain does not reappear.

Rinse and Repeat for a Spotless Flip Flop

Once the stain has been removed, rinse the flip flops with cool water. If there is still a lingering oil residue, repeat steps one and two as necessary. With a bit of patience and dedication, your flip flops will be looking as good as new.
