When your coveralls get covered in stubborn oil pastel stains, it can feel like an impossible task to get them out. But before you rush to the store for a new pair of coveralls, try these tips for removing oil pastel stains from your old ones.
The kind of detergent you use is important. You want to look for one that's specifically labelled as being good for stubborn stains, as this will have more of the enzymes and bleaches needed to break down the tough oil pastel stains.
Make sure to wash your coveralls on the highest temperature setting you can. This will help to break down the oils in the stain, making them easier to remove.
It's a good idea to pre-treat any really stubborn stains with a stain remover or even some dishwashing liquid before washing. This can make a huge difference in how clean your coveralls come out.
If the stains are still there after the first wash, don’t panic. Simply repeat the process - pre-treat and wash on a high temperature again - until the stains are gone.
Never do laundry again. Save time for things you ❤️
