Cleaning Oil Pastel Stains from Briefs
- Scrape off as much of the oil pastel as possible with a dull-edged object.
- Create a paste with sodium carbonate (washing soda) and warm water. Rub the paste onto the stain using a soft cloth.
- Allow the paste to sit for 15 minutes before rinsing the stain with cold water.
- Dampen a cloth with a mixture of 1 teaspoon liquid dish detergent and 1 teaspoon of white vinegar in 1 cup of water.
- Rub the cloth onto the affected area.
- Rinse area with cold water.
- To dry, lay the garment flat on a dry towel and press gently with a clean white cloth.
