Step 1: Blot the Stain with a Clean Towel

The first step is to remove as much of the excess oil pastel as you can. Carefully blot the stained area with a clean towel or piece of cloth. Gently press towel against fabric of the bra, but be sure not to rub the stain, as this can spread it further and make it worse.

Step 2: Create a Detergent Solution

Mix a few drops of mild detergent with a cup of warm water. You can also mix in a tablespoon of baking soda if needed. Use a clean cloth or sponge to apply the solution directly to the stained area.

Step 3: Soak the Bra in the Solution

Once the stained area has been thoroughly soaked, leave the bra to soak in the detergent solution for approximately 20 minutes. Make sure to check on the bra every few minutes and agitate the fabric gently to dislodge the stain.

Step 4: Rinse the Bra Thoroughly

After the bra has been soaking for 20 minutes, rinse it off with cool water. Be sure to rinse until all the detergent solution has been removed from the fabric.

Step 5: Wash the Bra on a Delicate Cycle

Once the bra has been rinsed, place it in washing machine on a gentle cycle. Use a mild detergent, and wash the bra in cold water. Once the cycle is complete, hang the bra up to air dry.

Step 6: Repeat Steps as Necessary

If the stain is still present after washing, repeat steps 1-5 until the stain is completely gone.
