You're going to need a few supplies to get started. You'll need talcum powder, a soft cloth, a sponge, a scrub brush, warm water, white vinegar, and detergent.
Use the soft cloth to dab at the stain to blot away as much of the excess polish as you can. Don't rub at the stain - this can make it harder to remove later.
Generously sprinkle the talcum powder over the stained area, making sure to completely cover it. Let the powder sit for 10-15 minutes so that it can absorb excess nail polish.
Using the damp sponge or cloth, wipe away the talcum powder. You should see that much of the nail polish has been absorbed by the powder.
Now it's time to clean stain. Mix equal parts white vinegar and warm water in a bowl. Dip the scrub brush in the solution and work it into the stain in a gentle, circular motion. Once the stain has been treated, use soap and warm water to clean the area.
With these five steps, you can easily get nail polish stains out of your UGG boots. If you have any other questions about cleaning your boots, don't hesitate to reach out to a professional cleaner.
