You will need to treat the stain as soon as possible in order to prevent it from settling deeper into the fabric. The best way to start is by using a nail polish remover, making sure to cover all parts of stained area. Remember, always test a small inconspicuous area of tunic beforehand, just to make sure it won’t discolour or damage fabric.
After you’ve treated the area with the nail polish remover, it’s time to get a bit more hands on with the cleaning. Start off by gently rubbing the stained area with a soft towel. If stain still doesn’t disappear, try using an abrasive cleaner such as baking soda mixed with water, and scrubbing the area until stain fades away.
Once the stain is gone, it’s time to rinse and dry the area. Use a cloth dampened with warm water to remove any excess cleaning products, then hang the tunic to air dry. Once the area has dried, you can check for any remaining traces of the stain, and repeat the previous steps if necessary.
That’s it! Following these simple steps should help you get rid of nail polish stains from your tunics quickly and efficiently. Don’t forget to always do a spot test beforehand just to make sure the fabric won’t be damaged by the cleaning procedure.
