Accidents happen, and when it comes to nail polish stains on tights, things can look dire. But there's no need to give up hope just yet. With a few simple steps, you can restore your tights without fail. Here's what you'll need to do:
- Create a cleaning solution by mixing one part dishwashing liquid with two parts lukewarm water.
- Soak the stained area in solution for up to 30 minutes.
- Using a toothbrush, gently scrub the stain in circular motions.
- Rinse area with lukewarm water.
- If the stain is still evident, re-soak and scrub with solution again.
- Finally, wash the tights properly according to the care label instructions.
Keep in mind that you may need to repeat the process multiple times until the stain is completely removed. But if all else fails, you may want to consider taking your tights to a dry cleaner.
