What You'll Need

  • Laundry detergent
  • A clean towel
  • White vinegar
  • Water

Directions

  1. Using the clean towel, gently blot the nail polish stain until no more nail polish can be removed.
  2. Mix 1/4 cup of laundry detergent with 1/2 cup of white vinegar and 3 cups of water in a bowl.
  3. Using a sponge or cloth, dab the mixture onto the stained area.
  4. Let the mixture sit for 10 minutes before rinsing off with cold water.
  5. Repeat steps 2-4 as necessary until the nail polish stain has been removed.
  6. Once the stain is gone, wash your swim trunks in the washing machine as usual.
