What You'll Need
- Cotton swabs
- Rubbing alcohol
- Laundry detergent
- Bowl
- Water
Instructions
- Gently scrape off any excess nail polish from the sweater with a cotton swab. Be sure to not press too hard because you don't want to ruin fabric.
- Mix together rubbing alcohol and laundry detergent in a bowl, making sure to use 1 tablespoon of each for every cup of water.
- Dampen the stained area with the mixture and use a cotton swab to gently scrub the stain. Work from the outside in and rinse as necessary.
- After the stain has been removed, wash the sweater as you normally would in order to remove any leftover residue.
- Dry the sweater according to the care label instructions.
