Removing Nail Polish from Suits: Step-by-Step Instructions
- First and foremost, act quickly! The sooner nail polish is removed the better.
- Create a mixture of equal parts white vinegar and rubbing alcohol in a bowl.
- Soak a cotton ball or pad in the solution until it is saturated.
- Gently dab the stained area with the soaked cotton ball or pad.
- Continue to dab until stain has been completely removed.
- Rinse area with cold water and pat it dry with a towel.
- If any of the stain remains, repeat the process.
Additional Tips
- Always test cleaning solution in an inconspicuous area on the suit before using it on actual stain.
- Use as little liquid as possible, as heavy fabrics are prone to water spotting.
- For hard-to-remove stains, spot clean the fabric with a small amount of acetone.
