Removing Nail Polish from Suits: Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. First and foremost, act quickly! The sooner nail polish is removed the better.
  2. Create a mixture of equal parts white vinegar and rubbing alcohol in a bowl.
  3. Soak a cotton ball or pad in the solution until it is saturated.
  4. Gently dab the stained area with the soaked cotton ball or pad.
  5. Continue to dab until stain has been completely removed.
  6. Rinse area with cold water and pat it dry with a towel.
  7. If any of the stain remains, repeat the process.

Additional Tips

  • Always test cleaning solution in an inconspicuous area on the suit before using it on actual stain.
  • Use as little liquid as possible, as heavy fabrics are prone to water spotting.
  • For hard-to-remove stains, spot clean the fabric with a small amount of acetone.
