Step 1: Dab with Acetone-Free Nail Polish Remover

Start by dabbing the stained area with acetone-free nail polish remover. This will help to loosen the nail polish from the fabric. Do not rub or scrub the stain, as this could damage the spandex. Try to blot up as much of the excess nail polish as possible.

Step 2: Apply Detergent and Water

Mix a few drops of mild liquid detergent with a cup of warm water. Dip a clean cloth into the solution and apply it to the stained area. Rub the fabric gently using a circular motion to work the detergent into the material. Continue to apply more detergent mixture if needed until the stain is gone.

Step 3: Rinse With Cold Water

Once the stain has been removed, rinse the affected area with cold running water. This will help to remove any residue of detergent or nail polish remover from spandex fabric.

Step 4: Air Dry

Finally, air dry the spandex garment. Avoid machine drying or ironing the garment until you are certain that all the nail polish has been removed.
