- Mild detergent/soap

- Possible hairspray (depending on dryness of polish)

- As soon as possible, blot the spill with a clean, white cloth – do not rub it in or you may spread the stain.
- Use a mild soap solution and dab in onto the stain to keep it wet and help break down the nail polish.
- Rinse the affected area with warm water. If the stain is still visible, don’t worry – move onto the next step.
- If there are any remaining traces of the stain, spray it with some hairspray and let it sit for a few minutes. The alcohol in the hairspray will help break up the nail polish.
- Once again, rinse area with warm water and soap. Keep repeating until all signs of stain are gone.
- Allow the fabric to air dry, or if you’re in a rush, use a hair dryer and cool setting.
