When it comes to treating a nail polish stain, time is of essence! Start by dabbing a small amount of rubbing alcohol onto the silk charmeuse garment and blotting away as much of the nail polish as you can. Next, mix a solution of one teaspoon of liquid detergent, one teaspoon of white vinegar, and one cup of warm water. Apply this solution to the nail polish stain and gently dab with a sponge or clean cloth. If the stain persists, rinse with plain water and repeat the process until the stain is gone. Once you have removed the nail polish, rinse garment with cold water and then launder as normal using a mild detergent and cool setting. If the stain is still visible, repeat the laundering process.
