What You Need:

  • Soap (dish detergent or laundry soap)
  • Cleaning cloth
  • Nail polish remover
  • Warm water

Instructions:

  1. Mix warm water with soap in a bowl until it forms suds.
  2. Dab the cleaning cloth in the soapy suds and work the suds into the stain.
  3. Rinse area with clean water and let it air dry for about 5 minutes.
  4. If the stain persists, soak a cotton ball or swab in nail polish remover and apply directly to the stain. Let sit for 30 seconds and then rinse with water.
  5. Repeat as needed until the entire stain is removed.

Tips:

  • Always test a small, inconspicuous part of the shoe before applying nail polish remover to a larger area.
  • It may take multiple applications to completely remove the stain.
  • Be sure to fully air dry the shoe before wearing again.
