How to Easily Remove Nail Polish Stains from Shoes
Having nail polish spill on your favorite shoes can be a disaster. The colorful stains can be hard to remove, but with the right cleaning materials and a bit of elbow grease, you can restore your shoes to their original beauty.

What You Need:
- Soap (dish detergent or laundry soap)
- Cleaning cloth
- Nail polish remover
- Warm water
Instructions:
- Mix warm water with soap in a bowl until it forms suds.
- Dab the cleaning cloth in the soapy suds and work the suds into the stain.
- Rinse area with clean water and let it air dry for about 5 minutes.
- If the stain persists, soak a cotton ball or swab in nail polish remover and apply directly to the stain. Let sit for 30 seconds and then rinse with water.
- Repeat as needed until the entire stain is removed.
Tips:
- Always test a small, inconspicuous part of the shoe before applying nail polish remover to a larger area.
- It may take multiple applications to completely remove the stain.
- Be sure to fully air dry the shoe before wearing again.
