- Cotton swabs
- Cotton ball
- Rubbing alcohol
- Warm water
- Mild soap
Step-by-Step Guide
- Test an inconspicuous area of the fabric to make sure the rubbing alcohol won’t cause discoloration or fading.
- Use the cotton swab to remove as much of nail polish from the fabric as possible.
- Dip a cotton ball in rubbing alcohol and dab the area to dissolve any residue, then wipe the area with a damp cloth.
- Soak the stained area in warm water and mild soap for 20 minutes.
- Rinse area with clear water and gently scrub with a soft cloth.
- Repeat these steps until the stain is gone.
- Air dry the fabric before machine washing.
