- Using a spoon or butter knife, scrape off any excess nail polish from the surface of the fabric.
- Mix 1 part detergent with 8 parts warm water and dip a cloth in the solution. Gently scrub the nail polish stain with the damp cloth.
- Rinse area with cold water to remove any remaining cleaning solution.
- If the nail polish is still visible on the fabric, mix equal parts white vinegar and water in a bowl. Dip a clean cloth into solution and use it to scrub the stain.
- Finally, rinse the stain completely with cold water and let it air dry.
