Method 1: Club Soda

Club soda works best if the spill is fresh. All you need to do is get some club soda on a damp cloth and dab at area. The club soda helps dilute the color and lift the stain with its effervescence.

Method 2: Vinegar + Salt

If nail polish stain has had some time to set, tackle it with a mixture of vinegar and salt. The combination creates a slurry that can break up even the most stubborn stains. Make sure to use an old toothbrush to help scrub stubborn bits until they disappear.

Method 3: Nail Polish Remover

Removing nail polish from your clothes can be done fairly straightforwardly if you have nail polish remover handy. Dab a cotton ball or cloth soaked in nail polish remover to the affected area and allow for it to sit for a few moments. You may need to continue repeating this process until stain is gone.

Method 4: Dishwashing Liquid

This method works especially well if the nail polish stain is on a polyester or nylon fabric. Just mix some liquid dishwashing detergent and warm water together, and submerge the stained item in mixture for a few hours. Give it a good scrub, rinse off the soap, and then launder as usual!

Method 5: Hand Sanitizer

If you don't have access to any of the above materials, you can still tackle nail polish stains with hand sanitizer! Apply the sanitizer to the affected area and rub it lightly. It might need a few tries, but this method should work just fine.
