Having a nail polish stain on your favorite polo shirt can be frustrating, but it's not the end of world. With some creativity and a few simple items, removing nail polish from a polo shirt is quite easy.

Materials Needed
- Cotton swab
- Rubbing alcohol or nail polish remover
- Hydrogen peroxide
- Cotton balls
- Soft-bristled brush
- Laundry detergent
Removing the Stain
- Scrape off the excess nail polish with the cotton swab.
- Using rubbing alcohol or nail polish remover, soak a cotton ball and dab it onto the stained area.
- Work the hydrogen peroxide into the stained area with a soft-bristled brush.
- Let the solution sit on the stain for 15-20 minutes.
- Wash the garment in washing machine with laundry detergent.
Tips and Warnings
- Always test cleaning products on a small inconspicuous area of the garment before using them on the entire stain.
- Do not use an iron or blow dryer on the garment until the nail polish stain has been completely removed.
- Do not put the garment in dryer before ensuring the stain has been removed.
