Nail Polish stains are one of the most common and dreaded beauty disasters. They’re especially tough to deal with when it comes to fabric items like clothing or masks. The good news is that there are some simple methods to remove the stains without ruining the mask.

What you will need:

  • Small bowl
  • Gentle liquid detergent
  • White vinegar
  • Soft brush
  • Towel

Steps to Remove Nail Polish Stains from Masks:

  1. Fill the small bowl with cold water.
  2. Add 1 teaspoon of gentle liquid detergent and 1 tablespoon of white vinegar to bowl of water.
  3. Stir the mixture until it is fully combined.
  4. Submerge the stained area of the mask in mixture.
  5. Let it soak for 30 minutes.
  6. Remove mask from mixture and gently scrub stained area with a soft brush.
  7. Rinse the mask thoroughly with cold water.
  8. Lay the mask flat on a towel and allow it to air dry.

Additional Tips:

  • Do not use hot water as it might set the stain.
  • Do not rub stain harshly as this could damage the fabric.
  • Be sure to use gentle liquid detergent rather than a harsher detergent.
  • Do not use bleach as it could discolor the fabric.
