  2. Mix mild detergent (or detergent for delicate fabrics) and cold water into a bowl.
  3. Dip the cloth or paper towel into the solution, then apply a light pressure to the stained area on the jeans.
  4. Let the liquid sit for 3-5 minutes, then rinse with cold water.
  5. If the stain is still visible, apply a dab of stain remover to the area. Let it stay for about 5 minutes.
  6. Rinse with cold water and allow clothes to air dry.
