The first step to getting rid of a nail polish stain on a jumper is immersing the stained area in cold water as soon as possible. This will help prevent stain from setting and allow you to treat it more easily. Then, apply a detergent directly to the stain. Be sure to use a detergent that is suitable for the type of fabric your jumper is made from.

If the stain persists, it’s time to break out some more powerful cleaning products. You can make a paste comprised of white vinegar and baking soda and apply it directly to stain. Leave it to sit for at least 30 minutes, then rinse with cold water. If the stain still remains, try rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide, both of which are effective stain fighters.

Once the stain has been removed, it’s important to take care of the jumper and clean it properly. Gently hand or machine wash the item with a mild detergent. Avoid using hot water, as this may set the stain and make it harder to remove. Air drying jumper is recommended over tumble drying, as this will reduce the chances of stain returning.

With right tips and cleaning products, you can easily get rid of any nail polish stains on your jumper. Taking immediate action as soon as stain is spotted will help ensure that the stain doesn’t set and is much easier to remove.
