Before you start cleaning the stain, make sure that you have necessary materials handy. You will need a clean cloth, a bowl of cold water, a dishwashing detergent, white vinegar, hairspray, rubbing alcohol, and a mild laundry detergent.
Soak the stained area with cold water to prevent the nail polish from further penetrating into fabric and becoming more difficult to remove. Let the affected area soak in the water for 10-15 minutes before proceeding to the next step.
Add a few drops of a dishwashing detergent to the stained area and rub it in using a clean cloth or an old toothbrush. Be careful not to scrub too hard as this could damage the fabric and make it more difficult to remove the stain.
Rinse the area with cold water and check if the stain has been removed. If it is still there, proceed to the next step.
Soak a cloth in white vinegar and blot stain with it. Let the vinegar saturate the fabric for a few minutes and then rinse it off with cold water.
Spray the stain with hairspray. Let it sit for a few minutes and then rinse it off with cold water.
Soak a clean cloth in rubbing alcohol and use it to blot the stain. Rinse it off with cold water.
Finally, add a mild laundry detergent to the stained area and wash it with cold water. Repeat this process if needed to completely remove the stain.
With these easy steps, you can easily clean the stain from your jeans and make them look like new. Just ensure to be careful with the fabric and take necessary precautions for quicker and safer results.
