Using a cloth, paper towel, or sponge, absorb as much of nail polish stain as possible.
Very gently scrape off any remaining nail polish with the edge of a plastic knife or credit card.
Wet a clean cloth with rubbing alcohol and gently dab the area of the stain.
Once the polish is loosened by the rubbing alcohol, firmly blot the area with a clean, dry cloth to remove what’s left of the stain.
Mix one teaspoon of detergent with two cups of cold water, and then apply the solution to stained area with a damp cloth.
Rinse the area with cold water, then dry with a clean cloth.
With these simple steps, you can easily remove nail polish stains from furniture. Pro tip: for routine cleaning of upholstery fabrics, always use an upholstery and carpet cleaning solution, and always test it on an inconspicuous area first.
