Carefully scrape off any excess nail polish that may still be wet on the material. A blunt-edged plastic tool or old credit card works great for this. Make sure to be gentle and avoid rubbing or abrading the fabric.
Dip a cotton ball or soft cloth into some acetone nail polish remover and press it gently against the stain. Do not rub it in or you will damage the material. Do this repeatedly until the stain starts to fade.
Purchase a special fabric stain remover like Zout or Shout, which are made specifically for removing stubborn stains. Carefully follow the instructions provided on package.
Before applying any stain remover to the entire area, test a small hidden part of the fabric first. Apply a small dot of the remover and observe for five minutes to see how it reacts. If everything looks good, you can then proceed with using remover on the whole stain.
Once you’re done treating stain, launder the item as normal but always read care label beforehand to make sure you’re not causing any harm. If possible, use a handwash cycle on cold or warm water only.
Never do laundry again. Save time for things you ❤️
