What You'll Need

  • Cotton swabs
  • Rubbing alcohol
  • Paper towels or a clean cloth
  • Hair dryer

Directions

  1. Scrape off any excess nail polish with a cotton swab.
  2. Dip a cotton swab in rubbing alcohol and gently dab stain.
  3. Using paper towels or clean cloths, absorb all the liquid.
  4. Continue to dab the area with rubbing alcohol until the stain has been removed.
  5. Blow dry spot with a hair dryer to set alcohol.

Additional Tips

  • If the stain is difficult to remove, try using acetone-free nail polish remover.
  • It’s important to take caution when using rubbing alcohol, as it can damage certain fabrics.
  • For more stubborn stains, apply a laundry pre-treatment product to the area before washing.
