Removing Nail Polish from Cotton Oxford

Cleaning fresh nail polish stains from cotton oxford fabric can be done with just a few simple household items. Here's what you'll need:

  • Rubbing alcohol
  • Dry-cleaning solvent
  • Hydrogen peroxide
  • Bowl
  • Cotton ball

The first step is to blot stain with a clean, white cloth or paper towel. This will help to absorb some of excess polish. Do not rub the stain as this will spread it and make it harder to remove.

Next, mix rubbing alcohol and hydrogen peroxide in a bowl. Dip a cotton ball into the mixture and then gently dab at stain. Make sure not to rub stain as this will only spread it. If necessary, repeat the process until the stain is gone.

If stain persists, use a dry-cleaning chemical. Dilute the solvent according to the directions on the bottle and then apply it to the stain. Allow it to sit for a few minutes before blotting up the chemical with a white cloth. Rinse the area thoroughly with lukewarm water and allow it to dry.

By following these steps, you should be able to easily remove nail polish stains from your cotton oxford fabric.
