Apply rubbing alcohol to another soft cloth and gently work it into the stain. Use a circular motion, and be sure to avoid over-soaking the fabric.
Once you have finished applying the rubbing alcohol, rinse the area using cool water. Work the water into the fabric using gentle circles. Do not rub the fabric too hard, as this may damage the delicate fibres.
If the stain persists, apply a small amount of hydrogen peroxide onto a soft cloth. Gently work this into the fabric in a circular motion.
Rinse fabric with cool water to remove the hydrogen peroxide. Be sure to avoid soaking the fabric and use gentle strokes when rinsing.
Mix equal parts of white vinegar and dish soap and apply the mixture to the stained area. Use a sponge or soft cloth to gently work the mixture into fabric. Allow the mixture to sit for several minutes before rinsing.
Rinse fabric with cool water and allow it to air dry. If any traces of the stain remain, repeat steps one through six.
If all else fails, apply a stain remover solution to the area. Follow instructions on the package and be sure to avoid over-soaking the fabric during the process.
