What You'll Need:

  • Rubbing Alcohol
  • White Vinegar
  • Ammonia
  • Dish Soap
  • Salt
  • Cotton Balls

Steps to Remove the Stain:

  1. Mix ½ cup of rubbing alcohol, 1 tablespoon of vinegar, 1 teaspoon of ammonia and 1 tablespoon of dish soap in a bowl of warm water.
  2. Soak a cotton ball in the solution and dab the stain. Do not rub the stain as this can make it worse.
  3. Once the stain is saturated, sprinkle the area with salt and wait 10 minutes.
  4. Rinse the area with cold water and check to see if stain has been removed.
  5. If necessary, repeat steps 1 - 4 until stain has been completely removed.

  • Always spot test a hidden area of the fabric first to ensure no damage or discoloration will occur.
  • Do not use bleach, as it may cause fading or permanent damage to the fabric.
