How to Quickly Clean Nail Polish Stains from Board Shorts
Board shorts are an essential part of your summer wardrobe. But, when nail polish stains start to show up, it can put a real damper on your good time. Don’t panic though — it’s easy to clean nail polish off of board shorts with just a few simple steps.

What You Need
- Laundry detergent
- White vinegar
- Soft cloths
- Baking soda paste
Instructions
- Gently remove as much of the nail polish as possible with a soft cloth.
- Mix equal parts laundry detergent and white vinegar with warm water. Then, apply the mixture directly to the stain.
- Allow the solution to sit for 10 minutes before scrubbing the area gently with a soft cloth.
- Rinse the area with cold water and repeat Steps 2 and 3 until the stain is no longer visible.
- If the stain still remains, make a paste using baking soda and cold water. Rub the paste into the stain and allow to sit for 10 minutes. Then, rinse area with cold water.
- Finally, let the board shorts air dry before wearing them again.
