berry Cleaning up spilled or dropped nail polish on your favorite apron doesn't have to be a chore. With the right materials and techniques, you can remove the stain quickly and easily and get back to your mani/pedi session in no time. Here are some helpful tips:

Removing Nail Polish from Fabrics

  • Start by dabbing up any excess polish with a paper towel or dry cloth. Blot alternate areas of the stain until you have removed as much as possible.
  • Mix a solution of equal parts water and rubbing alcohol and apply to stain with a cotton swab. Blot the area until the stain has been removed.
  • If the nail polish is still visible, apply a few drops of dishwashing detergent onto the stain and allow it to sit for at least 10 minutes. Use a brush or sponge to scrub the area and then rinse the fabric with cold water.
  • For stubborn stains, you can try using acetone on a cottons swab or cloth. Apply to the stain, blot the area and repeat until the stain is gone.
  • If you need to, you can repeat the process of dabbing, soaking, and scrubbing until the stain has been removed.
  • Once the stain is gone, let the fabric air-dry and then launder according to instructions. This will help to remove any odors left behind from the cleaning products.

Removing Nail Polish From Other Surfaces

  • If your apron is made of a non-fabric material such as leather, vinyl, or plastic, use a damp cloth to wipe away any excess nail polish.
  • Then rub lightly with a cotton ball soaked in rubbing alcohol until the stain is removed.
  • For tougher stains on leather, you can use an oil-based cleaner. Apply a small amount to the stain and rub gently with a soft cloth until it is gone.
  • For hard surfaces like countertops or tile, use a soft cloth or sponge dipped in a solution of warm water and liquid detergent. Rub the area with the cloth or sponge until the stain is gone.
