What You'll Need

  • A clean white cloth
  • Rubbing alcohol or nail polish remover
  • Detergent
  • Ammonia solution
  • Cold water

Steps To Remove A Nail Polish Stain

  1. Begin by using a clean cloth to gently dab the nail polish stain. If the stain is still wet, then use cloth to absorb as much of the liquid as possible.
  2. Once nail polish has been absorbed onto the cloth, dab the stained area with a small amount of rubbing alcohol or nail polish remover.
  3. Then, pour a small amount of detergent onto stain and rub it in. This will help to break up any of the particles that could be stuck in the fabric.
  4. Pour ammonia solution onto the nail polish stain and use a clean cloth to rub the area. This will help to break up the stain further.
  5. Rinse the area with cold water to further remove any remaining nail polish. Continue rinsing until the water runs clear.
  6. If the stain persists, repeat Steps 1 – 5 until the stain is completely gone.
  7. Finally, put the stained clothing in the washing machine to ensure all of the nail polish is removed.

Conclusion

Following these steps should help you to easily remove nail polish stains from your clothing. Just make sure to act quickly and use the right materials for the job. Good luck!
