How to Get Mustard Stains Out of Wool: A Do-it-Yourself Guide
Mustard stains on wool can be tricky. But with a few easy steps and some household laundry items, you can remove them from your wool fabric in no time!

Materials
- Liquid dish soap
- White vinegar
- Baking soda
- Hydrogen peroxide
Instructions
- Apply a small amount of liquid dish soap to the mustard stain and work it into the fabric.
- Soak area in white vinegar for 10 minutes.
- Rinse with cold water and blot dry with a towel.
- Using a clean cloth, apply a paste made with baking soda and hydrogen peroxide to stained area.
- Leave the paste on for an hour or two, then rinse with cold water.
- Repeat if necessary and allow the fabric to air dry.
Extra Tips
- If stain is particularly stubborn, try spraying it with a pre-treatment spray before applying the baking soda and hydrogen peroxide paste.
- Always read the care label on your item first before attempting any sort of stain removal.
