A mustard stain on a watch can be frustrating, especially when you don't know how to remove it. Fortunately, there are several methods to tackle the stain that don't involve expensive cleaners or complex tools. Here's how to clean mustard stains from your watch.
Begin by blotting the stain with a soft, absorbent cloth. The goal is to soak up as much of the mustard as possible. Be careful not to rub stain, as this could push it further into watch's material or even spread it to other areas.
Mix a cleaning solution with equal parts warm water and dishwashing liquid. Put mixture in a bowl for easy access. Dip a cloth in the solution and use it to lightly scrub the mustard stain.
Rinse the area with cold water and dry it with a soft cloth. Make sure to do a thorough job here to ensure no residue is left behind.
Depending on size and age of stain, you may need to repeat above steps several times before the mustard is completely removed. Be patient and careful not to damage the watch by scrubbing too hard.
