As soon as you notice stain, use a clean white cloth or paper towel to gently blot the area. Do not rub the material as this can further spread the stain or damage the fabric.
Put a few drops of liquid dish soap onto the stained area and let it sit for a few minutes. Then, use a soft brush to gently scrub the stain for about five minutes. Be sure to scrub gently to avoid damaging fabric.
Once you’ve pre-treated the stain with dish soap, rinse the fabric off with cold water. This will help to remove any residue from soap.
To really make sure that the stain is gone, use an oxi-clean stain remover to pre-treat the area. Let it sit for a few minutes and then rinse it off with cold water.
Once the stain is gone, you can launder the clothing item as normal. For Versace clothing, be sure to follow the specific care instructions listed on the tag.
