Gather Your Supplies

To clean mustard stains from your Vans, you will need:

  • A soft brush
  • Dish soap
  • One teaspoon of white vinegar
  • Sponge
  • Clean water

Apply Soap and Vinegar Mixture

Mix together one teaspoon of vinegar with one teaspoon of dish soap and add a small amount of water until the mixture resembles a paste. Next, use the soft brush to apply the paste over the stained area on your Vans. Allow it to sit for approximately five minutes.

Use Sponge to Remove Stain

Once the mixture has set for five minutes, take the a damp sponge and gently rub it over the stained area. Continue to rub until the stain is removed.

Rinse Clean

After stain has been removed from your Vans, rinse the shoe under lukewarm water to ensure that all remaining soap is gone. Allow your shoe to air dry before wearing it again.
