Start by treating the stain with dish soap and lukewarm water. Allow the solution to soak into fabric for at least 20 minutes, then launder as usual. If the stain persists, move on to Step 2.
Mix one tablespoon of baking soda and one tablespoon of vinegar to make a paste. Apply the paste to the stain and scrub gently. Rinse with cold water and launder as usual.
If the stain still persists, use hydrogen peroxide to remove it. Soak the area with a mixture of equal parts hydrogen peroxide and cold water and let sit for 15 minutes. Rinse with cold water, and then launder as usual.
Once the stain is gone, wash underwear in hot water to help set the color. This will ensure that the stain won't return once it has been removed.
Once the underwear has been washed, dry it in direct sunlight or in the dryer. Once it is completely dried, inspect to make sure that stain is completely removed. If not, repeat Steps 2-4 until the stain is gone.
