How to Get Mustard Stains Out of Sports Bra - Fast and Easy!

Accidents happen, but you don't have to give up on your sports bra just because it has a mustard stain. Getting the stain out is easier than you think, and can be done with items you already have in your kitchen.

Instructions

  1. Blot the stained area with a paper towel to absorb as much of mustard as possible before the stain sets in.
  2. Soak the stained area in cold water for 10 minutes.
  3. Mix an organic detergent with warm water in a basin.
  4. Swish fabric around in the basin for about 5 minutes.
  5. Rinse properly with plain water in a sink.
  6. Soak the stained area in a mixture of white vinegar and warm water for at least 30 minutes.
  7. Rinse again with plain water to remove any residue.

Tips

  • Try to act quickly if you spot a mustard stain, as it will set in quickly.
  • Use a mild detergent that doesn't contain bleach.
  • Wash the sports bra in the washing machine on a cold water setting to remove any remaining stain.

Warnings

  • Do not put the sports bra in dryer until you are sure the stain is gone.
  • Do not scrub the stained fabric, as it can cause the stain to spread.
