Wait until mustard stain has dried, then scrape off as much of it as possible. Do not rub or scrub the stain, as this could cause it to spread.
Once most of the dried mustard is gone, apply a generous amount of dish soap to the stain. Rub the soap gently into the stain with a soft cloth.
Once the soapy mixture has been applied and worked into the stain, rinse the area with warm water.
After rinsing, spritz the area with a mixture of white vinegar and water. This helps to lift and remove any remaining stains.
Finally, launder the slippers with a mild detergent, and dry as usual.
Good as new! With a few simple steps, you can have your slippers looking like new again.
