In a bowl, combine 1 teaspoon of dishwashing detergent, 4 tablespoons of baking soda, 2 tablespoons of white vinegar and 1 quart of warm water. Mix the ingredients together until the baking soda has dissolved.
Using a clean cloth or sponge, apply cleaning solution to the stained area. Gently rub the area in a circular motion, taking care to evenly spread the solution over the stain. Let the solution sit for 10-15 minutes, then rinse it off with cold water.
If there is any stubborn residue left behind, use a scouring pad to gently rub the area. Rinse with cold water and repeat steps 1 and 2 until the stain is gone.
Once the stain is removed, let the shoes air dry or pat them down with a clean towel. For best results, repeat this process regularly to keep your Skechers looking good as new.
