Step 1: Gather Supplies

You will need following items to successfully remove mustard stains from silk habotai fabric:

  • Mild liquid detergent
  • Stain remover
  • Cool water
  • Soft-bristled brush
  • Clean white cloth

Step 2: All-Purpose Cleaning Treatment

Mix a small amount of mild liquid detergent in some cool water. If a stain remover is available, add one capful to the mixture for extra cleaning power. Dip a clean white cloth into the solution and blot the stain. Do not scrub or you may damage delicate fabric. Once you’ve covered entire stained area with the soapy water, gently brush away the dirt particles with a soft-bristled brush. Rinse the cloth in clean water and repeat the process until the stain is removed.

Step 3: Rinse Away the Soap

After you’ve finished with the cleaning treatment, rinse the fabric with cool water to remove the cleaning solution residue. Gently squeeze any remaining liquid and let the fabric air dry.
