The first step in removing a mustard stain from Prada clothing is to pre-treat it using a quality spot cleaner. When purchasing a spot cleaner, look for one that is suitable for delicate fabrics, such as wool or silk. Place a towel down underneath the garment, and use an eyedropper to apply the spot cleaner directly onto the stain. Blot the stain gently with a cloth, then cover it with a damp cloth and allow it to sit for 15 minutes.
Once the stain has been pre-treated, wash garment in your washing machine according to the instructions on care label. However, you must use cold water and a mild detergent. Do not use bleach or any other harsh chemical, as these can damage the fabric. Additionally, be sure to select the gentle cycle and a low spin speed.
After washing, air-dry the Prada garment. Never place a garment with a mustard stain in the dryer, as this could potentially set the stain and make it much more difficult to remove. Hang the garment up to dry in a shaded area, and check stain every few minutes to spot-clean any residual marks.
