What You Need
- Light detergent, such as Woolite
- White cloth or sponge
- Oxygen bleach laundry pre-soak, such as OxiClean
- Washing machine
Step 1: Blot Out Excess Mustard
Before treating the stain, take a white cloth or sponge and press it down onto the mustard stain. This will help remove any excess mustard before you do any deeper cleaning.
Step 2: Treat Stain with Detergent
Once you have blotted out the excess mustard, apply a light detergent like Woolite directly onto stained area. Work the detergent into fabric in circular motions. Let the detergent sit for about 15 minutes before washing.
