The quicker you treat a mustard stain, the easier it will be to remove. Start by blotting the stain with a clean cloth or paper towel to soak up as much of the mustard as possible.
Mix together 1 tablespoon of white vinegar and 1 tablespoon of dish soap in a bowl of warm water. Use a clean cloth to dab the mixture onto stained area until the stain has been lifted from Marcella fabric.
If the vinegar and soap solution did not work, try using non-gel shaving cream. Apply a generous amount of shaving cream directly onto the stain, use a soft brush to gently scrub the area, and then let cream sit for 10 minutes before blotting it off with a clean cloth.
After scrubbing off the shaving cream, rinse the stained area thoroughly with cold water to clear away any leftover residue. If the mustard stain still remains, repeat either the vinegar/soap solution or the shaving cream method until the stain is completely removed.
