The first step to removing mustard stains from Marc Jacobs is to scrape off as much of the spilled mustard as possible from fabric. Use a spoon or dull knife to lightly lift up the larger pieces of mustard. Make sure not to press down too hard to avoid further staining fabric.
In a small bowl, mix a small amount of dishwashing liquid with warm water. Dip a clean cloth into the mixture and blot mustard stain. Do not rub the stain, as this may cause it to spread. Gently blot stained area until the cloth comes out clean.
Rinse the stained area in cold water and repeat Steps 2 and 3 if the stain is still visible. If the mustard stain persists after several attempts, take the garment to a professional dry cleaner.
Once the mustard stain is removed, allow the garment to air dry before wearing it again. Avoid placing garment in the washer or dryer as this could set the stain.
Make sure to cover any Marc Jacobs garments when eating or drinking to avoid future mustard stains.
