The most important step in removing a mustard stain is to act fast. As soon as the stain occurs, grab a soft microfiber cloth and begin blotting. Do not rub the stain as this will spread it. Continue to lightly blot stain until there is no more visible liquid.
Mix together a cleaning solution of equal parts vinegar and warm water. Dip a soft cloth into solution and gently dab it onto the stain. Don't rub, just bear down lightly. Once the stain has been saturated, let solution sit for 10 minutes.
After sitting for 10 minutes, rinse off the vinegar solution with warm water and a clean towel. Make sure to wring out excess water and allow the bag to air dry before putting it away.
